Xevni House Garden is a traditional stone-built house in Aliki, occupying the ground floor of a building set at an elevated position above the southeastern coastline of Thassos. The defining feature of this floor is its relationship with the outdoor spaces: the private garden opens directly from the house, functioning as a natural continuation of the living area rather than a separate destination. The large paved terrace, sunbeds, and barbecue sit within that same flow, with panoramic views over the Aegean, the southeast coastline, and the mountains as a constant backdrop.
Also in the same building: Xevni House.
Inside, the house follows the minimal aesthetic of the island. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed, a spacious kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom provide everything needed for a comfortable and self-sufficient stay. The ease of movement between the indoor living spaces and the garden outside gives the property an openness that is felt throughout the day, from breakfast at the outdoor table to evenings around the barbecue.
The surrounding area places some of the most compelling sites on the island within easy reach. The Monastery of the Archangel Michael is 5 minutes away. Giola, the natural rock pool that has become one of Thassos's most recognisable landmarks, is 10 minutes. Aliki beach is 10 minutes in the other direction. Potos, the liveliest village on the southern coast, is a 17-minute drive.
