Since 1996, Mandragoras Cocktail Bar has been one of the fixed points of a night out in Chrisi Akti. Almost thirty years on, it hasn't slowed down.

The outdoor terrace sets the tone: a raised wooden deck shaded by thatched palm umbrellas, torch-lit palm trunks, white wooden benches with bold striped cushions and lanterns at table level that make even a Tuesday feel festive. Tables fill early and the terrace stays busy well into the early hours. Step inside and the mood shifts completely. The indoor bar is all red and purple neon, stone walls, Moorish pendant lights and a back shelf stacked deep with bottles that signals this is a place that takes its cocktails seriously - and it does.

The drinks menu is the heart of Mandragoras, signature cocktails refined over almost three decades. For something slower and more atmospheric, the daily shisha experience gives the outdoor terrace another reason to stay past one drink.

Summer adds Latin Nights to the calendar, evenings when the terrace stops being a bar and becomes a dancefloor, the music turning to salsa, bachata, and reggaeton until well past midnight.

Mandragoras Cocktail Bar has earned its place among Chrisi Akti's nightlife, and still one of the best reasons to stay out late on Thassos.
