Skala Kallirachi Beach is right in front of the village with the same name, Skala Kallirachis, the coastal version of the mountainous village of Kallirachi. It is sandy with pebbles and has beautiful shallow emerald waters, perfect for children to swim and play. There are no amenities on the beach because of its small size, but you can find everything you need at the village within walking distance. While visiting Skala Kallirachi Beach, it is good to have an umbrella with you and something to sit on because there are no sunbeds or umbrellas provided.
This beach is perfect to enjoy in the evening. The sunset transforms this place and makes it an idyllic and very romantic place to eat, walk, or have a drink and watch the lights from the mainland appear gradually.
To reach Skala Kallirachi Beach, if you are not staying here, you have to drive 22 kilometers southwest of Limenas or just 10 minutes from Skala Prinos Port. In Skala Kallirachi, you should stay at least for a quick seafood meal, which is always freshly caught from Thassian depths. If you stay there during the sunset, you will watch the small fishing boats starting their journey to bring the next day’s fish.
There are sandy beaches on both sides of the port and another location for swimming nearby. However, it is more rocky, and it is good for you to have swimming shoes to walk easily in and out of the water. To find it, you should drive towards Limenaria.
