Potos in Thassos is well-known for being the heart of the island's nightlife. Located in the southern part of the island, Potos faces the Aegean Sea. It is approximately 40 kilometers from Limenas, while Limenaria is only 2 kilometers away. Potos is both the haven of Theologos and the ultimate spot for partying.

Potos Beach has a soft and golden sandy beach with shallow, crystal clear waters and the modern comforts of nearby beach bars. The water temperature ranges from 18°C in winter up to 26°C in summer. Other nearby beaches include Psili Ammos, Rosogremos, Agios Antonios, and Pefkari, all of which are ideal for swimming and water sports.

In addition to the beaches, it's worth visiting the Holy Orthodox Church of the Assumption of Mary, which was inaugurated in July 2023 and is the new gem of the village. In Potos, the memory of St. Antonios (January 17), the Virgin Mary (August 15), and St. Nikolaos (December 6) are celebrated, and of course, the August 15 festivities are the event of the year for the village.
