Glikadi Beach Thassos is a small, quiet spot by the sea with a lot of space to bring and set up your own umbrella. A few sunbeds and a small snack bar are available for those who prefer to be more comfortable. There's plenty of space to park your car without having to pay, and the beach is big enough for the amount of people that usually visit it. Most of the time, even during the high peak of the summer season, it is quiet for you to enjoy your book in peace.
The beach has soft sand, and the water is not deep, but there is a line with rocks right where you step into the sea. While the rocks are mostly flat and not sharp, there is a chance to see a sea urchin, so it's a good idea to wear swimming shoes. After this line of rocks, there is fine sand, and the water is blue-green due to the surrounding vegetation. It is also so clear that it looks like a swimming pool. To reach Glikadi Beach, drive just 8 minutes west of Limenas or 10 minutes east of Skala Prinos port.
